Annual Meeting at Rolling Road Country Club August 27, 2009

A fabulous time was had by all at the 2009 Annual Meeting which was held at Rolling Road Country club with over 70 IFMA members in attendance for a wonderful dinner of crab cakes, salmon, shrimp and much, much more.

Our outgoing President Pete Notari thanked the many committee members who gave generously of their time to benefit the chapter during the last year by presenting them with Certificates of Appreciation.

Several members were awarded plaques for their exemplary service to our chapter.  Greg Liss—formally of Bigelow Commercial Carpet—Now with Interfinish Carpet & flooring was honored as the Board Member of the Year.

Jack Grinnalds of Johns Hopkins University was named Member of the Year for all his contributions.

The Sponsor of the Year was awarded to

David Mazzuca with NTC Mazzuca Contracting. What would we do without our wonderful sponsors?

Connie Miller with Blue Dot Services of MD was given the Special Service Recognition Award for her many contributions

Gary Pfeifer, our new President thanked Pete for his service as President; then Pete, the new Sponsorship Chair, and the other Board members were sworn in.

In the true spirit of friendship most of these awards were given and received with playful banter making the evening light and filled with laughter. We look forward to a GREAT year with our new board and the many wonderful programs planned.  Come out and join us at our upcoming meetings.
