A great time was had by all who attended the IFMA July Networking Event at Nick’s Fish House, which is known for spectacular water views from the outdoor decks. The afterhours gathering provided the perfect setting for professionals and associate members to catch up on current projects and trends. A positive vibe was felt by everyone that the Baltimore/Washington region is doing much better overall than the rest of the country. For that, we are all very grateful.
Thank you to Ginny Bradford for planning this fun gathering! She graciously welcomed everyone and encouraged them to join a committee and become more involved in the Chapter.Connie Miller, President of the IFMA Chesapeake Chapter, spoke briefly about the exciting year ahead, including a new benefit for professional members –a CFM prep class at no charge.Hunter Ely is leading this effort, and he provided CDs of IFMA course pre-work documents to 10+ professionals who are interested in participating, and moving their careers forward. The Chapter will have some newly minted CFMs in the near future!
