Maintenance Mechanic II at M&T Bank Corporation
Basic Function: Perform skilled trade duties in the operation, maintenance and repair of buildings, related equipment and systems. Position involves lifting and carrying items weighing approximately 90 lbs., working on scaffolding, climbing ladders, bending and stooping. Responsibilities: Electrical - Maintain and repair circuits, wiring and electrical signs; replace switches, receptacles, ballasts, circuit breakers, motors, fans and lights. Plumbing - Maintain and repair plumbing fixtures, lavatories, faucets, sinks, water heaters, supply and drain lines, irrigation and sprinkler systems. Carpentry - Maintain and repair walls, interior/exterior trim, ceilings, doors, floors, fences and gates. Repair minor roof leaks and glaze windows. Field-oriented, onsite Construction Project Manager with a minimum 5 years experience in building rehabilitation, capable of and interested in managing both field operations (90% or more subcontracted) and project management functions. This work can include sitework, building exterior renovations, repairs, and building interiors. Individual projects range from under $100,000 to $10,000,000 multi-year assignments. Seeking a creative and independent individual who can still work within the rules and who fully understands how to deliver a superior client experience and superior quality and safety, and still meet the normal constraints of budget and schedule compliance. You will have independent responsibility for all aspects of project delivery. Assignments will be throughout the general Baltimore Metro area. If you are afraid to walk through the mud, walk the job regularly, climb down in a hole or up on a scaffold to review the quality control details, this job isn't for you. If you can't utilize and maintain normal project controls and documentation and a computer, write a good report, or conduct yourself in a highly professional manner, it also isn'™t for you. Facility Management Position at MedAssurant
Responsibilities and duties of the position include: 1. Oversee aspects of the daily operations of MedAssurant facilities (including those utilized by MedAssurant which may be provided through agreement for MedAssurant service provisions) and administrative staff functions and procurement related thereto 2. Manage the maintenance, repair, and enhancement of all physical assets and equipment resulting in a clean, well maintained, and safe facility which operates in a cost efficient, productive, and responsible manner 3. Serve as a point of contact with property managers, building engineers and vendors to ensure the efficient operation, maintenance and repair of the facility 4. Manage office moves to include negotiating contracts with vendors, obtaining proposals and necessary liability insurance certificates, receiving necessary approvals from property managers 5. Manage and coordinate execution of service contracts and agreements for building and grounds maintenance, utilities, and other areas as required 6. Maintain and manage seating assignments (capacity reports) for office staff, including ensuring adequate space is available for employees, consultants, temporary and visitors and coordinating such with Company growth plans and projections 7. Manage the implementation of all risk management and building evacuation plans 8. Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined within MedAssurant Operating Policies and Procedures - 4 to 6 years of Facilities Management experience - 2 plus years of commercial construction project management - Proven mechanical and engineering expertise a must.
